Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A taxi driver who was washing his car outside his home was shot and killed in the Villas del Carmen subdivision of Playa del Carmen.
The shooting took place just after midnight when reports say armed subjects shot the man from the window of a passing car.
The taxi driver, who was from the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río union, has been identified as 50-year-old Luis A.A.S. from the state of Yucatan. Police have not provided a motive for the shooting.
