Cozumel, Q.R. — The State Attorney General’s Office say they are looking for two people linked to criminal activity on Cozumel after a joint operation revealed drugs and weapons.
In a statement, the agency indicated that elements of the Investigative Police seized almost half a kilo of cocaine, marijuana, a long gun, a short gun, several cartridges, three vehicles, a motorcycle and a property.
They specified that derived from citizen reports through emergency 911, residents indicated armed people at the home. When police arrived, two armed subjects took fire against police then successfully escaped in a nearby building.
Police processed the property where they made their seizures. They continue to look for the two subjects.
