Cozumel, Q.R. — Quintana Roo police have arrested a man who they found in possession of cocaine. During a routine surveillance tour in Cozumel, Seguridad Pública police came upon the man while on his motorcycle.
When he noticed police, he began acting suspiciously, which is what caused him to be pulled over, however, instead of pulling over, he attempted to flee. Police caught up with the man and after an inspection, found he was carrying 10 small bags of cocaine inside a black waist pouch.
Public Security police say they have arrested 20-year-old Moisés N for being in possession of cocaine. When stopped, police say Moisés N was also without a driver’s license or legal documents for the motorcycle he was driving.
The arrest took place on 8th street of the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood. The detainee, cocaine and motorcycle have been turned over to the Ministerio Público del Fuero Común.
