Cozumel, Q.R. — The collision between a motorcycle and SUV did not result in any injuries, but did generate damages after the driver of a Cherokee allegdly failed to yield at a marked sign.
The accident happened in the Centro neighborhood around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday when the driver of the Cherokee was traveling along 10th Avenue and failed to yield at an intersection, colliding with a motorcycle.
The driver of the bike managed to jump off before colliding with the Cherokee, which when hit, became lodged under the front of the vehicle. Police reported that the driver of the motorcycle sustained only minor injuries, however, his motorcycle received substantial damage.
