Cancun, Q.R. — A man and a woman have been arrested at the Cancun International Airport after they were found in possession of a stuffed crocodile.
The couple were attempting to travel to New Jersey when they were found carrying the crocodile. The pair, who are of Chinese nationality, were taken into custody by federal police after passing through the filter.
This species of marsh crocodile is regulated by the Official Mexican Standard for protected species. Both were delivered to the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR).
