Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun passenger van that crashed into a tree left five of its passengers with injuries. The accident happened on a straight stretch of the Auto Gas highway shortly after midnight.
Cancun Transit were at the scene of the late night crash where police and ambulances attended to those inside.
The taxi van was traveling on a straight strech when the driver lost control at an intersection and crashed head on with a tree. Cancun Transit did not provide details as to how the accident happened.
The two women and three men inside were taken to Cancun hospital. The extent of their injuries are not known.
