Their interested attendees ranged in age from pre-school to middle grade. Firemen spent the morning showing them firemen maneuvers using a large hose to demonstrate fire extinguishing.

During their demonstration, SFIREman appeared. Several of the younger children had their photos taken with the half spider-half Cancun-dressed man. Cancun firemen and firewomen taught the kids about fire prevention in a fun way.

More than 100 kids participated in the Friday morning school demonstration put on by local authorities.

“School Visit at San Patricio School. We had the honor of visiting the children at San Patricio School, where we led a talk titled “My First Steps in Prevention,” teaching them about safety and fire prevention in a fun and educational way.

“We were also joined by a very special guest… SFIRErman who spent time with the children, reinforcing the message that we can all be heroes by preventing accidents and acting responsibly.

“We thank the school for welcoming us and all the children for their enthusiasm. Together, we build a safer community!” Bomberos Cancun said.
