Cancun, Q.R. — A radio taxi driver from the Andrés Quintana Roo union died after he was reportedly crashed into by another taxi from Leona Vicario.
The horrific accident happened along the Cancun-Mérida highway just before the entrance to Leona Vicario. Reports show the two hit with incredible impact, spinning both vehicles off the highway and into the brush.
Police say the driver of the Cancun radio taxi, William E.C., was pronounced on scene while the male driver of the Leona Vicario taxi, who has not been identified, was seriously injured and rushed to hospital.
