Mexico City, Mexico — The government of Mexico has reported the arrival of another 500,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines. The vaccines arrived at the Mexico City International Airport late Saturday night. The anti-Covid vaccines, which are from the pharmaceutical company Sinovac Life, is the seventh shipment sent by the company.
In a statement, the government specified that the vaccines arrived on a Cathay Pacific Cargo flight Saturday night after departing Beijing. Mexico has already received 5 million vaccines from the company with the last shipment being in March for one million doses.
To date, Mexico has received 22.1 million vaccines from companies Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology that produces Sputnik V, as well as from CanSino Biologics.
