Abandoned bags of drugs found at Cancun ADO

Cancun, Q.R. — Two duffle bags of drugs were discovered abandoned at the ADO bus terminal in Cancun. The bags arrived from Mexico City but were not collected.

Left at the terminal, members of the army headed the confiscation of the two bags that contained 43.5 kilos of wrapped packages. The finding came after the arrest of two men who were traveling on an ADO bus. They were taken into custody at a checkpoint in Xpujil, Campeche after they were discovered carrying 35 packages of marijuana.

That was when authorities learned of a second shipment of drugs via the ADO bus line from Mexico City destined for Cancun. Inside those two abandoned bags were 38 packages of wrapped drugs.
