Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — An early morning accident outside Puerto Aventuras left one person with serious injuries. Police were on scene at the 1:00 a.m. roll over near the Puerto Aventuras overpass.
The roll happened along the Federal 307 when the woman was heading south to Tulum. Witnesses to the accident made the report to police. There was no word on how or why the female driver lost control of her car.
First responders arrived to find the vehicle had tumbled several times before coming to a stop in highway vegetation. She was transferred to Playa del Carmen hospital in serious condition.
