Mexico City, Mexico — A person of Venezuelan nationality was taken into police custody at the International Airport of Mexico City after a luggage inspection found 10 kilos of cocaine.
In a statement, del Agente del Ministerio Público Federal reported that when conducting a review of the hand luggage, three rectangular packages that contained cocaine were discovered.
The unnamed person was arrested by la Guardia Nacional at el Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México. The person had arrived on a flight from Bogotá, Colombia. They have been made available to the Federal Public Ministry who will follow-up on subsequent investigations.
