This particular vaccine is a single dose and will be used to vaccinate older adults in Bacalar and Leona Vicario. On Sunday, the Government of Mexico also received the first shipment of 870,000 doses of AstraZeneca India, which will serve to continue with the national vaccination strategy.

The 6,920 doses that Quintana Roo received are part of this first shipment received by the federal government. Older adults wanting to be vaccinated for free as part of the state’s strategy can do so by registering online.
