Two young women rescued from forced prostitution during Chetumal vehicle stop

Chetumal, Q.R. — Three men were arrested and two young women rescued during a vehicle stop in Chetumal. The vehicle was inspected after patrolling officers saw the men handling bags of what was believed to be narcotics and exchanging cash with a taxi driver.

The drivers of both vehicles fled when they saw police, however, officers caught up with the van. Inside the van were two young women, both of whom told police they were forced into prostitution by the men.

A vehicle inspection lead police to find 31 bags of cocaine. The two women, Natasha “N”, 20 and AGH “T”, 17, were rescued.

The men, Tehul “N”, 40, Daniel “N”, 43 and Porfirio “N” 34, the latter reportedly a former member of the State Police, were arrested from their vehicle in the Antorchistas Ecosur area of Chetumal on drug charges.
