Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — The driver and passenger of a car that rolled along the highway outside Puerto Aventuras were lucky to walk away. The accident was reported by passing motorists who saw the car leave the road and roll into the ditch.
Two people inside, a male driver and a female passenger, were assessed on site by paramedics for minor injuries. Neither required hospitalization.
According to preliminary information, the driver began to doze at the wheel while heading toward Playa del Carmen Monday when he lost control and left the road.
