Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — Two men from Veracruz were arrested Tuesday by agents of the Municipal Police after being found in possession of a loaded firearm. Police took the two into custody on Puerto Maya Avenue where they were seen standing next to a parked car.
When the pair saw the police unit was about to pass, they ran for a stationary store where they attempted to take refuge, something officers deemed as suspicious. A review of their Michoacán-plated car revealed a loaded firearm and extra ammo.
Both subjects were transferred to the Attorney General’s Office, while the vehicle was insured.
