Chetumal, Q.R. — Two people were captured in the state’s capital city wanted on allegations of armed robbery. The FGE of Quintana Roo reported the arrests of Marco “O” and Joel “B” for aggravated robbery.
The pair were taken into police custody for their alleged participation in the May armed robbery of a Chetumal business. According to the FGE, on May 3, the pair arrived at a soft drink store located on Bugambilias Avenue in Chetumal, where one of them threatened an employee outside the store with a firearm.
The second person allegedly threatened a store employee inside before grabbing a cash box. The pair then fled on a motorcycle. Both Marco “O” and Joel “B” were taken into custody after a judge issued arrest warrants for their capture.
