Chetumal, Q.R. — Two people were removed from a home during a search operation in the Bosque neighborhood of Chetumal. The house being searched was reported to be a criminal safehouse.
Inside, police located large amounts of narcotics (types of drugs and amounts seized are unknown) and two males who have only been identified by their partial initials. Both men are belived responsible for riots, drug dealing and high-impact crimes around the region.
Both men have been handed over to the Specialized Prosecutor in the Drug Dealing Modality. The operation happened Thursday night at a private property on Cedro Street. The search operation stems from an investigation into a criminal leader arrested on June 24 in Cancun.
