Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — Three men were arrested Thursday night at the entrance to the Monte Sinai invasion in Puerto Aventuras after they were found carrying a firearm.
The three were were pulled over by Municipal Police at an established checkpoint by the entrance to the Monte Sinai invasion. When they were at the inspection point, police saw a gun sitting next to the gear shift. A formal inspection revealed a firearm and ammunition.
Taken into custody were 35-year-old Raúl Q.F., Julio Alejandro S.F., 29 and Luis Henry C.D., 21. The trio were arrested from a Quintana Roo-plated white Tsuru and handed over to the Attorney General’s Office.
