Three Tulum taxis set on fire in Puerto Aventuras

Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — Three taxis from the Tiburones del Caribe union in Tulum were set on fire late Friday night in Puerto Aventuras.

The units were all parked in residential areas when they were set ablaze. It was around 10:00 p.m. Friday when authorities were made aware of the burning cars in different areas of Puerto Aventuras. The vehicles were ignited by unknown subjects who alledly left threatening messages toward the taxi union.

Firefighters were able to put out all three vehicles, however, one house is reported to have suffered damage from the flames of one of the burning vehicles.
