Three male dolphins found washed up on Cancun beach

Cancun, Q.R. — The Mexican Association of Habitats for the Interaction and Protection of Marine Mammals reports the death of three male dolphins. The mammals were found along a beach area of Puerto Cancun.

In a social media message, the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (Profepa) announced that they, together with Civil Protection and ecology personnel from the Municipality of Benito Juárez, as well as members of the Cancun Fire Department, participated in the care of one of the three dolphins, since two arrived already deceased.

However, the third dolphin died shortly after being found. Eight veterinarians from the Association were involved in the corresponding autopsies to determine the cause of their deaths.
