Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — Elements of the Solidaridad Municipal Police arrested three men in Puerto Aventuras after they were found with narcotics, a loaded gun and fake police gear. On Monday, 27-year-old Alexander “N” from Chiapas was found in possession of a loaded handgun and an apocryphal jacket labeled “Municipal Police Solidaridad”.
His two companions, 43-year-old Rodrigo “N” from Tabasco and 39-year-old Christian “N” from Quintana Roo, were found in possession of 50 bags of narcotics.
Patrolling officers in Puerto Maya saw the three men exchanging bags of what appeared to be narcotics. Police found the illegal items during an inspection and arrested all three.
“During a tour in Puerto Aventuras the Municipal Police seized 3 subjects, a firearm, 10 useful cartridges, a jacket with the legend “Municipal Police Solidaridad” and more than 50 doses of possible drugs,” the Seguridad Pública Solidaridad (SSP) reported in a briefing.
