Three bodies discovered during search operation in Cancun suburb

Cancun, Q.R. — Another random search in Bonfil, a suburb of Cancun, has lead authorities to three bodies. Police involved in the latest search operation made the discoveries Thursday.

On Friday, the State Attorney General’s Office said remains of three people were found in a hilly area of the Alfredo V. Bonfil delegation. Personnel in the search operation were from the kidnapping department and included two sniffer dogs.

The bodies were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service for an autopsy and subsequent identification.

In April, a total of eight bodies in two searches were found in the same day in the city’s suburb of Bonfil.
