Chetumal, Q.R. — A suspect wanted for murder and attempted murder in the city of Chetumal has been captured in the state of Querétaro. Police executed an arrest warrant against José Guadalupe “N” for aggravated homicide and attempted aggravated homicide against two male victims.

The arrest took place on the Mexico-Queretaro highway in the city of Santiago, Queretaro by FGE personnel Thursday. He was returned to the state of Quintana Roo Friday night to face charges.

“The events for which José Guadalupe “N” had a current arrest warrant occurred on the night of April 24, 2024, when, accompanied by six men, he arrived at the home of the victim, a minor, located on Ushuaia Street, in the Flamingos subdivision,” the FGE reported.

“Due to the injuries he received, the minor lost his life at the scene while his father was taken to a hospital for medical attention, managing to survive.”

After his arrest José Guadalupe “N” was transferred by air to Cancun from where he was later taken to Chetumal.
