Chetumal, Q.R. — A man accused of attempting to suffocate a woman to death has been arrested. State Preventive Police have begun an investigation against Manuel Nasario “N” “for his alleged participation in acts possibly constituting the crime of attempted femicide.”
According to police, the initial investigations indicate that on December 8 of this year, after having an argument with his partner, the detainee allegedly tried to suffocate her, however, a child from inside the home intervened and he released her.
Following the events, Manuel Nasario “N” was captured in the Las Américas neighborhood in Chetumal and was turned over to the FGE, police reported in a statement Wednesday.
