Mahahual, Q.R. — The driver of a motorcycle died on a Mahahual roadway after being involved in a single-vehicle accident. The unidentified man was killed after losing control of his bike and connecting with the pavement head first.
The accident happened in the community of Mahahual when, according to witnesses, the driver was speeding when he lost control and skidded. The adult male driver was thrown to the ground where he hit his head on the pavement. He was not wearing a helmet.
Police found the man laying on Rubia Street. Area residents reported the accident to emergency services. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. He has not been identified.
