Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — Police are continuing an investigation into the shooting death of a 30-year-old man in Puerto Aventuras. On Monday afternoon, Luis Fernando “G” was killed after being shot in an apartment on Bahía Akumal Street.
According to available information, the Mexican national was found dead inside the apartment after being shot in his doorway. Surveillance footage is being used to help piece together events that lead up to the shooting as well as in the search for those responsible.
According to sources, the shooting of the 30-year-old man is being treated as a murder. Police have not released any official details surrounding the broad daylight killing, nor have they commented on a possible motive.
