Chetumal, Q.R. — Scores of small fish have been found floating in waters belonging to the Chetumal Ecological Park. The scores of dead fish were discovered Saturday with some floating and some washed up along the lake’s banks.
The small fish were videoed in the artificial lake of the Zazil Ecological Park in Chetumal over the weekend. In May of 2010, a similar incident was found in the same lake where dozens of fish suddenly appeared dead.

At the time, municipal authorities attributed it to the intense heat. Authorities this year have not provided a possible cause or official details about the sudden deaths.
