Chetumal, Q.R. — A man neighbors said laid down to sleep the night before was found dead this morning. Residents on Juárez Street called police when they realized the sleeping man had died.
Area residents told police that they paid no attention to the man who down to sleep on the steps Thursday night. The man was found still laying on the concrete steps in central Chetumal Friday morning.
When neighbors approached, they suspected he was dead.
Municipal police confirmed the location of the man neighbors reported laying on the side of private property.
Paramedics were requested to provide medical assistance, however, the man was confirmed deceased. He is reported to have been part of a known group of homeless men in that area.
The name of the deceased man has not been made public.
