Cancun, Q.R. — The state has recorded another 104 new cases of Covid-19 in a 24-hour period, pushing Quintana Roo to over 7,200 confirmed cases.
In a 24-hour period, another 104 positive cases have been detected around Quintana Roo as well as another 10 deaths. Seven of those deaths were recorded in Cancun.
According to the State Secretariat of Health, Quintana Roo has an accumulated 7,218 positive cases of which 930 patients have died. They say that during the 24-hour period, 150 tests were performed which resulted in 46 being negative and 104 positive, adding that another 587 are waiting for results.
The state reports that the latest deaths included seven in Cancun, one from Playa del Carmen, one from Othón P. Blanco and one from José María Morelos.
Figures show Covid-19 counts continue to climb with Benito Juarez (Cancun) accumulating the highest number with 3,563 positive cases followed by Othón P. Blanco with 1,832 cases, Solidaridad (Playa del Carmen) 983, Cozumel with 199 positive cases, Tulum 137, Isla Mujeres 71 and Puerto Morelos with 22 positive cases.
