Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — Police in Puerto Aventuras were made aware of a crashed vehicle left abandoned Monday. The single vehicle accident was left behind by those responsible after slamming into a town light pole.
A black Jeep with expired license plates was found embedded in a city pole around 5:00 a.m. Monday. A passing motorcycle taxi driver notified authorities of the single vehicle Huaya Street accident. The vehicle hit the pole hard enough to destroy the front of the Jeep and dislodge the pole from its base.
The Puerto Aventuras street light was left leaning from the accident. The vehicle was found abandoned on a sidewalk. Police had the vehicle towed.
