Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — One man was transferred to hospital after a Sunday evening gas explosion. The 6:00 p.m. gas explosion occurred inside a home on Cerrada de Orca Street.
The unnamed man, who was the only occupant of the home at the time, was rushed to Playa del Carmen hospital in serious condition. Paramedics arrived to find him with a large abdominal wound.
Municipal Police agents, firemen and Civil Protection personnel arrived to begin an investigation into what caused the LP gas explosion.
