Puerto Aventuras, Q. R. — Solidaridad police responding to an ATM robbery report arrested a suspect in possession of several bank cards. Over the weekend, police were called to a commercial shopping area in Puerto Aventuras where they found two people holding a man.
One person was a citizen. The second was the plaza’s private security guard. The man they were holding was accused of stealing a bank card while the private citizen was withdrawing cash from the machine.
Police arrested 38-year-old Diego “N” from Mexico City after he was reported for removing a bank card from a machine during a withdraw then attempting to flee. At the time of his arrest, police reported finding four other bank cards and one department store credit card in his possession.
