Police locate the taxi of one of two missing Chetumal drivers

Chetumal, Q.R. — Days after the reported disappearance of a taxi driver, his unit has been located. Police in Chetumal found a taxi which belongs to one of two men reported as missing.

The State Attorney General’s Office reported that the car of the driver, identified as Adrián Tun Pinto, was located along the federal highway on the road to Mérida, however, his whereabouts are still unknown.

According to their information, the car was found in brush along the Pantera-Valle Hermoso section of highway that leads to the city of Merida. Inside, police did not find any traces of the taxi driver.

On Sunday, both Tun Pinto and another man, Enrique Rovira Cruz, a combi driver on the Chetumal-Bacalar route, were reported as missing. The whereabouts of both men remain unknown.
