Cancun, Q.R. — The main suspect in the murder of four Cancun youths has been officially charged. On Friday, police announced the official charges against Joran “N” for the deadly shooting of four young men in late November.
According to a police statement, “initial investigations indicate that the accused is the mastermind behind the murders that occurred in the irregular colony of Santa Cecilia, which occurred on November 30 of this year.”
Joran “N” is accused of planning the targeted shooting death of two of the four youths on November 30. During the attack, two other youths at a nearby food kiosk were hit by stray bullets. They died at the scene.
Joran “N” is facing murder charges for the two youths he targeted and the two killed as innocent bystanders. Rigoberto “H” and his brother Anselmo “H”, who were buying food at a nearby kiosk, were hit by bullets meant for Cristian Iván “T” and Yordi “C”, both 19. All four youths were pronounced dead at the scene.
After the shooting, Cancun police said the targeted attack was related to drug dealing. Police also said that the targeted youths, Cristian Iván “T” and Yordi “C”, were known to police.
