Cancun, Q.R. — After an intense search operation, two men alleged involved in the kidnapping of a man from his Cancun home have been arrested. Police have taken two men into custody who they believe were involved in the Tuesday kidnapping in SM 232.

The pair, identified as 34-year-old Giovanni C.M. from Yucatán and 28-year-old Daniel S.C. of Cancun, were arrested early Thursday at the intersection of Chac Mool and Miguel Hidalgo Avenues. They were detained in the same red car believed used in the kidnapping.

On their person, police located doses of cocaine, a ballistic vest, two ski masks and two cell phones. The car in which they were found driving had an outstanding theft report.
