Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — A man from the U.K. remains in police custody after being arrested for domestic violence. Police made the arrest of the 73 year old after an emergency report of an attack with a knife.
Police from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSCM) of Solidaridad arrested the man after he is alleged to have attacked her during an argument. His partner, a woman, was transferred to hospital to be treated for cuts to her head and neck.
Her assailant has been identified as 73 year old Allan “N” from England. In a statement, police reported that “SSCM police arrested a male person from England who allegedly attacked his partner with a knife during an argument, in the Puerto Aventuras complex.
“During a surveillance tour, municipal police responded to a call for help for a report of a fight. At the scene, they interviewed a female person who indicated that moments before she had an argument with her partner who had allegedly attacked her with a knife, causing injuries to her head and neck that required her transfer to the hospital.
“Therefore, Allan “N”, 73 years old, originally from England, was arrested and placed at the disposal of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) for the corresponding legal purposes.”
