Chetumal, Q.R. — A man found laying in the middle of a Chetumal street Sunday morning has died. Medical personnel were called to the scene outside a Chetumal nightclub after reports of a man being shot.
Responding paramedics found the adult male laying in the center of Calzada Veracruz Street where they pronounced him dead. Witnesses reported two men on a motorcycle arriving at the nightclub where they asked to speak to the man.
When he came outside and walked to their bike, the pair began shooting at him. He was shot numerous times and left for dead as the motorcycle driver and his passenger fled the scene.
National Guard were part of the first responders who helped police in a search operation for those responsible. However, police did not announce any arrests.
