Chetumal, Q.R. — Police have arrested Marcos “N” and Joaquín Ramón “N” for the murder of two Chetumal men. Both are facing charges of qualified homicide after their shooting deaths in April of 2024.
Marcos “N” was captured in the city of Chetumal, while Joaquín Ramón “N” was located and arrested in the city of Cancun. According to police, the pair are accused of shooting two men in the streets of the Las Américas II subdivision of Chetumal.
“Following the events, which occurred on April 20, 2024, those involved fled aboard the vehicles in which they had arrived,” police said. Both men were picked up on “the judicial orders for the crime of qualified homicide,” authorities reported.
The deceased were not identified in their report. Police did not provide a motive for the April 2024 shootings.
