Mahahual, Q.R. — Only one person was taken to hospital Saturday night after a three vehicle crash outside Mahahual. According to available information, the driver of one of the cars hit the rear of a motorcycle, which triggered the incident.
Both private cars ended up run off the road and into thick vegetation. Elements from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) were sent to the scene of the accident along with paramedics.
Due to darkness, police were unable to locate the hit motorcycle, however, its driver was transferred to hospital for medical treatment. The people from inside both vehicles were treated at the scene for minor bumps and bruises.
The accident happened in an area that is without public lighting.
