Nuevo León, Mexico — Governor Samuel García has announced an investment of $1.5 billion USD in the state of Nuevo León. On Tuesday, García announced that the Taiwanese company Quanta Computer will invest $1.5 billion USD in an expansion project.
“Quanta Computer is the type of company we want in Nuevo León. That is why we do everything so that they are set up quickly. From the laying of the first stone, Quanta settled in Nuevo León in just five months with the help of the government.
“In fact, they liked our state so much that they are already expanding from $250 million to $1.5 billion. And this is only the investment in equipment, the land and construction.
“Just as we help Quanta to establish itself and grow, so we will help everyone who comes to invest in electromobility, technology, innovation, science and sustainable energy. Nuevo León’s moment is NOW!”
The investment is from the Taiwanese company Quanta Computer. Garcia says they estimated that it will generate at least 2,500 new jobs.
