Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — The municipal president of Solidaridad has appointed Luis Eduardo Pérez Escamilla as administrative liaison in the Puerto Aventuras Delegation while the legal situation of the current delegate, Tomás N, is resolved.
Laura Beristain Navarrete appointed Pérez Escamilla to temporarily replace Tomás N after he was arrested for carrying illegal firearms.
Navarrete said the appointment of the administrative liaison is due to the urgency that the inhabitants of the delegation have a representative who maintains communication with the various dependencies of the municipal government, especially at this time when there is a health contingency for COVID-19.
