Mahahual, Q.R. — Personnel from the Secretary of the Navy report the rescue of two people who were left drifting after the engine on their vessel failed. Navy personnel say after receiving an emergency call for help, the two fishermen were located approximately 22 kilometers from Mahahual.
Both men were found in good health adrift in their vessel El Dios del Mar. The men were transferred to the navy rescue boat while the fishing vessel was tied and towed back to base.
