Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — Armed subjects on a motorcycle fired at a patrol unit of the Municipal Police in Puerto Aventuras Tuesday night, sending police on a search.
The attack against the police unit happened around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on Tamarindos Street, which remained cordoned off while police began corresponding investigations. According to reports, the police unit was hit three times by the gunfire.
A search operation was immediately activated by agents of the Municipal, State and Ministerial Police, resulting in the arrest of a subject on a red motorcycle on Haka Street.
There were no reported injuries in this latest attack against police.
