Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — A hotel worker who was riding his motorcycle along the federal highway died after colliding with a car.
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. Monday near the Hard Rock Hotel along the Puerto Aventuras-Playa del Carmen highway. The impact between the two knocked the driver from his bike, tossing him several meters onto the pavement.
Police and paramedics arrived, but the driver of the bike was already deceased. The driver of the Toyota car was arrested and handed over to the State Attorney General’s Office. The driver of the motorcycle was not identified.
