Mexico receives medical supply donation from South Korean company

Mexico City, Mexico — The government of Mexico has received a health donation made by Seegene Mexico in conjunction with the Government of the Republic of Korea. Seegene Mexico, a multiplex molecular diagnostics company with headquarters in South Korea, in conjunction with their embassy, made a donation of of 50,000 RT-PCR reagent tests, 100 coolers to store vaccines and 20,000 surgical masks.

The donation was made to strengthen bilateral cooperation between both countries to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico. The equipment was donated for medical personnel who are on the front lines in the battle against the pandemic.

Dignitaries from Mexico and Korea were on hand for the donation with the Undersecretary for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights of the SRE, Martha Delgado, saying that the only way to end this health crisis is through cooperation between countries.

During the presentation, both countries recognized the cooperation and brotherhood in health matters between Korea and Mexico, countries that for years, have maintained stable and mutually beneficial relations.
