Mexico City, Mexico — On Tuesday, shipment number 93 of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine arrived in Mexico City. The latest shipment, which is the first of four expected this week, arrived with 585,000 covid-19 vaccines.
The flight landed Tuesday morning at Terminal 1 of the Mexico City International Airport, making it vaccine shipment 161 for the country. To date, Mexico has received 124.9 million doses of various vaccines, which continue to be administered around the country.
The government of Mexico reports this latest shipment of Pfizer increased the country’s vaccine count to 42.1 million. Another three shipments of Pfizer are expected this week.
