Mexico City, Mexico — Mexican airline Volaris has added another plane to its fleet. The ultra-low-cost Mexican airline announced the addition of a new A320neo, which they say, will be put into operation in January.
Volaris, who operates in Mexico, the United States and Central America, announced the reception and incorporation of an Airbus A320neo, bringing its current total to 86 planes.
“The Airbus family aircraft will begin operations in January and will strengthen the company’s strategy of increasing frequencies on the more than 170 routes it currently offers,” Volaris said in a statement.
“The incorporation of the NEO models will allow the airline to meet its goal of reducing fuel and polluting emissions by an additional 5 percent each year,” the company added.
