Chetumal, Q.R. — The State Attorney General’s Office reports the capture of Pompeyo L for his probable participation in the crime of femicide in the murder of his mother.
The first investigations indicate that on September 27, the defendant deprived his mother of life. The crime apparently was committed inside the house where they both lived, located in the town of Morocoy in the municipality of Othón P. Blanco.
After receiving reports from neighbors and relatives about the missing woman, an investigation allowed specialized prosecutors to request and obtain the corresponding arrest warrant, which was carried out on public roads in the city of Chetumal.
The defendant was transferred to the Social Reintegration Center of Chetumal.
