Chetumal, Q.R. — A young man and woman were found dead inside a Chetumal hotel Tuesday. The pair, both reported to be under the age of 30, were found dead inside a hotel on Chetumal Bay Boulevard.
According to preliminary information, the young woman was found in bed without any signs of violence, while the young man was found at the exit of the room. The pair were captured on hotel video arriving in a black Corvette.
According to hotel staff testimonies, they requested the room for only three hours. When they failed to leave after the three hours, a staff member entered the room around 1:00 p.m. where they were found dead.
Agents from the Ministerial Police and the medical examiner’s office were on scene Tuesday afternoon to collect evidence and remove the bodies. An official cause of death will be determined once an autopsy has been completed.
